People over the years have debated whether or not there are brain signals as someone dies, or after they die. People researching though, have found that after blood stops flowing, and the heart stops pumping, that a few rats that were tested still showed brain signals, even after death. This brings the scientists to wish to test on people dying, in a state called cardiac arrest, and study near death mental experiences, such as light being seen. Around 20% of cardiac arrest survivors claim to have an experience in clinical death. Within the first 30 seconds, the rats had highly aroused minds. The mind was assumed to be dead in this state, and we have been proven wrong. We still have much to learn....

1. Do people actually claim to see a tunnel of light when they are in clinical arrest?
2. Why is the brain highly aroused during this time?
3. Why is it that they experience these things?
